The Mets have added LHP Casey Fossum (LINK), OF Lorenzo Scott (LINK), and RHP Dale Thayer (LINK) to their minor league assets, signing each of the players to MnL deals in advance of pitchers and catchers reporting next week, according to Adam Rubin over at ESPN-NY.
Fossum, 33, pitched in Japan last season. He made three appearances at the major league level for the Mets in 2009.
Scott, 28, hit a combined .270 with eight homers and 40 RBIs in 318 at-bats at three levels, but primarily with Double-A Jacksonville.
Thayer, 30, went 4-1 with a 3.45 ERA in 46 relief appearances for Triple-A Durham last season.
