Mets will go to business. I wish that Swedish Chef character was around to write a humorous prediction of the game's events.

This is my response to those trying to secularize the fans.

Remember, you heard it from the Robot Devil first (In the Pedro thread I'm too lazy to go back and try to find):

Steve Trachsel, playoff hero.

The Mets will tonight, just because they are pissed and know they have to

alright so in my MVP 2005 version of tonights game:
trax is his usual walk the line rope a dope, going 7 innings letting up 3 runs (all in the first). the mets pick up a run in the 3rd on an rbi single by pornstche. trax keeps getting timely double plays as the cards strand runners left and right. the mets get a serious threat in the 8th as cliff hits a ph single to send reyes to the plate as teh go ahead run but he flies out to the track. in the top of the ninth paulie doubles to right, beltran singles him to 3rd. then carlos delgado unloads on a pitch and places it into the right field seats for a 4-3 lead. the mets later add an insurance run on a reyes rbi single. wags gets the side 1-2-3 in the bottom half and the mets win a thrilling game 2 5-3!

Well we need more out of Trax then we got out of his start in LA. Hopefully he'll pitch like he did in the division clinching game. Suppan isn't terrible, but he certainly isnt great. The offense isnt the main reason the Mets lost last night, they did score 6 runs, but they havent really exploded yet....now would be a good time to do so.

I hate road games....hopefully the mighty Trax and the offense can get it done.

Good luck and Godspeed!

Just as some may criticize Willie for overusing the bullpen, we must use great care in that we do not overuse Sheaman. We don't want his aura to fall off.

It's like a video game... your most powerful weapon usually has a recharge period... if you summon it too often, it certainly becomes less effective.

I summon thee, Trax-san!
