The MJ magic touch continues.

WINK.

The MJ Magic Touch led to 5 Greensboro runs in the bottom of the inning.

Sand Gnats now trail 9-2.

Lemme get a few off my chest right now.

-- Is it me, or is Santana wilting when we need him most? Whats with the low K rates? Should I start calling him "Johan Moyer"?

-- David Wright needs to look out, as Pedro Feliz, when you account for fielding and intangibles, is very close to him. Its pretty sad when David is Number 5 on the field and Number 5 in the rankings of 3B in our division...

-- Maybe I'm off base here, but anyone else get the impression that we've seen the best of Reyes? I just don't think he was built for the marathon. Reyes = Barbaro?

WINK.

How does that have anything to do with Sean Ratliff's power surge?

Or would you like me to make a disparaging comment against John Church???

Lutz was just PR for in the 9th.

Injury?

I can't imagine him having much trade value.

Of course there's always the option of...he's slow and represented the tying run and they were trying to win the game.

But its 100x more fun to speculate on the other possibilities.

Lutz was HBP and represented the tying run so it's either one, the other, or a combination of the two...

But he's leading off tonight, and he hit a triple. Like Jose!

Marte's been tremendous since the ASB.

.294/.341/.444 and his K/BB has been 3/1, down from a close to 6/1 in the first half.

Nice to see the "Silver Boy" starting to 'get it'.

He's hitting in front of Wilmer.

That just makes him look fast...

Could we fuse Marte and Flores together? That would make for one of the best prospect in baseball...

G-Mets fall 5-4.

A run, 3 hits, and an RBI for Julio Concepcion.
