John Grabow backed out of his Dodgers deal, he had a real good spring so far, and could be a decent thought as another lefty, although i'm not sure they really want a 2nd lefty in the pen.

Rotoworld gives us today's jdawginsc Special....

Micah Owings didn't have it again on Tuesday, yielding three earned runs on four hits in 1 1/3 innings of relief.

It's been a tough spring for Owings. He has a 7.50 ERA over 12 frames, as hitters are batting .340 against him.

It's probably not a good sign for the state of the Mets that I get excited to hear about every player who is playing awful in spring and is about to get cut.

Jack Cust will sign a minor league contract with an NL team, reports Troy Renck of The Denver Post (on Twitter). That team is not the Rockies however, and we can also rule out the Astros since they released him this morning.

So you're saying there's a chance.

For example, the Twins just released Zumaya.

Things are coming back into focus for "the vision". Too bad Sandy did not have the foresight to sign Willis.

Jack Cust signs with the Yankees.

Obviously the greatest NL team of all time.

Presumably Raul Ibanez insurance.

If you combine their spring numbers, they are 4 for 77. I know ST stats don't matter, but that still makes me smile.

Indians release Chin-Lung Hu.

If Mets knew what was good for them, they'd snatch that up quickly, see attendance skyrocket, trade high on Ronny Cedeno.

Instant profit.
