Great to see Duda back in there. Hopefully his injury issue is a thing of the past.

AdamRubinESPN Daniel Herrera (back) also on #Mets trip.

Niese worked around another Ronny Cedeno error in the 1st and then Mike Nickeas delivered an RBI double in the top of the 2nd.

1-0 Mets, bot 2

Niese with 2 solid innings so far against what appears to be the Tigers "A" line-up.

Niese quietly seems on his game this spring so far. Niese by a nose!

Personally, if Niese can have an entire solid year (meaning no second half fall off like he has had) I'd love to see the Mets lock him up through his first 2 years of FA. Whether he's already as good as he will be or if he has untapped upside he's a valuable player and locking up him would save us money in the long run.

Niese in trouble in 3rd. Back to back singles by Jackson and Inge with the big boppers Cabrera and Fielder coming up.

Niese not doing so well in the 3rd, though--three straight singles to Jackson, Inge, and Cabrera, and the game is tied up.

Another single to Young, and a sac fly to Avila - and its 3-1 them.
