Nickeas isn't a bad looking guy.

I guess Turner counts these days as a starter? OR IS TERRY TIPPING HIS HAND HERE THAT JORDANY VALDESPIN WON THE 2B COMPETITION!!!???

...cuz Duda, Santana and Nickeas (stretch) only is 3. And we know by the Gee thing last start that we're being watched for 4 starters.

I guess they can make the argument that Turner IS the starting 3b for now because Wright hasn't played on ST game.

The MLB is going to be pissed at the Mets come April when they realize they won't be sending the requisite number of starters on any road trip this season.

Only cuz I saw him scheduled to pitch today: We haven't seen Miguel Batista in 11 days, and in that time, he's seemingly greatly improved his chances of making the club to where he is now hyped as likely to be there. Odd, eh?

Guess TC is readying him for his regular season role, where he will be forgotten about for long periods of time, and when he does pitch, likely to not pitch all that well. In other words, trying to recreate that 2007 bullpen dynamic that Aaron Sele brought.

1-2-3 for Santana.

3 grounders -- two to short, 1 to 3B.

Threw about 6 or 7 pitches.

35% (the leading amount) of Metsblog voters think the Mets should give Wright 5 or more years wow.
