Humbling experience for Harvey--for better or for worse. Be interesting to see how he comes back from it. You'd like to think it would be a growing experience, not a devastating one.

This is good for Harvey. He's clearly not MLB ready. Better not to let 1-2 nice ST outings cloud that fact.

AdamRubinESPN Adam Loewen strikes out in first AB. That's 19 Ks in 35 Grapefruit League at-bats. Hard to see how Mike Baxter not backup LH-hitting OF. about 1 minute ago · reply · retweet · favorite

AdamRubinESPN Actually, officially 43 pitches for Matt Harvey, with 26 strikes. 1 IP, 7 H, 5 ER, 1 K, 0 BB, 3 HRs, 2 2Bs. No injury. Just pulled. 10 seconds ago · reply · retweet · favorite

This is different from the "Loewen handshake agreement" theory earlier in spring.

Loewen has been a mess the last 2 weeks. He's played himself into losing a job that looked like it was his.
