If Chris Young can successfully return from capsule surgery, they have talked internally about using a six-man rotation, presumably to get Santana an extra day of rest.

Oh c'mon, seriously? The logic on some of the stuff coming out of the end of camp is so backwards I don't even know what to say. You like the idea of a 6 man starting staff for Santana's sake (arguable, but fine...), so you bring in a guy who hasn't been healthy in half a decade to be that 6th starter, at some point indefinitely into the future!? Why wouldn't you sign another legit starter in the offseason, knowing there is absolutely 0 starting depth in this org beyond the top 5, if thats what you wanted!?

What legit starter would come here without being promised a role on a Major League staff? Further, what legit starter would choose to be part of a 6 man rotation?

Just checking the sidebar, I thought the contrast here was pretty funny:

DPLennon Here's Chris Young, throwing off a mound, looking like he never left.

Yeah I can't tell if thats a "he looks horrible" statement from KB or a "He looks so much more free and easy" statement. KB usually leans positive, but I assume he would've been more obviously so if it was meant as a compliment.

Jesus Sandy.
Best justification for a 6-man rotation is to *exclusively* help Santana and Young, keeping them fresh and fooling teams into trading for either of them at the deadline.
