This obviously isn't the Yankees best lineup, but Pelf just sat down quality MLB hitters in the first. He's been pitching well since the front office rumors started bubbling. That can change, but nice results in the 1st and he's throwing 94.
Well, I don't think its the difference between "ace" and "back end guy", nor is it some great unlocking of something we've never seen, but Pelf throwing 94 > Pelf throwing 89, even if just for viewing aesthetics.
Agreed. Just trying not to get rope-a-doped into being optimistic about his season. Been burned about seven too many times. He's firmly in "Show Me" territory.
