Carrillo is expected to be the backup catcher in Savannah. Lawley is supposedly only going to get a "taste" behind the dish.

I thought Lawley was going to move to catcher most of the time...?

Is Leathsich starting or relieving?

Mack Says he thinks hell be closing...but i thought the plan was to get him innings as an SP then move him to pen for rest of year to rest his arm

I really wouldn't trust Mack's prognostications. Maybe he got these guys from an official source, but I bet Toby will get the actual roster and post it soon. I think he even confirmed today he had it but was going in order.

Like I said in the other thread, I don't really trust this roster. Leathersich closing seems inaccurate and Honeck/Harrison at 1B is fishy.

Sad part is, I didn't say much to him. He just lurked on NYFS and got extremely angry that I questioned some of his roster.

Cordero is repeating Savannah? So much for them being high on him. He's 22 in his 5th professional season.

I'll wait until we see the official rosters, but I'm a bit puzzled by the indications we have regarding the middle infield alignment at the lower levels.

St. Lucie seems a bit crowded with Shields, Muno and Tovar all vying for time up the middle. In stark contrast, Savannah would be quite barren up the gut with Brown, Nieves and Rivera. I know everyone wants Muno in St. Lucie, but wouldn't it make tons more sense to put him in Savannah for the time being given the roster situations?
