LIGAMENT DAMAGE NOT RULED OUT.

So much for that new windup helping out the velocity. Looks like Big Pelf just decided to go absolutely "all-out" and blew his arm out.

At least we don't have to worry about Miguel Batista, right?

Carson is coming up for the Miami series and then he'll be replaced by a starter for Friday's (Pelfrey) start.

Wow. Didn't see that one coming.

One more reason I'll never use the phrase "innings eater" in a discussion.

Yeah, we'll see.

Chances Carson stays after coming in to get LoMo in a big spot with a 96 mph heater this week and Batista goes after giving up 4 runs in 2.1 IP tomorrow night in relief of an ineffective RA Dickey (sorry RA)?

Valdespin worked out in LF. Should play there a lot going forward vs. RHP.

Next: "Valdespin trying out catching."

Great to see all the concern here for Pelfrey's well-being

It is a little weird that almost every player people didn't want to see on the roster this year that made it onto the roster (sans Batista) has gotten hurt.

Not to be morbid but it's possible we just witnessed Pelfrey's final start as a Met.
