Ramirez starting to come around the last few outings, although sounds like he probably should've been charged with a run last inning (albeit in somewhat unlucky fashion apparently).

In hindsight, would've been better for Tejada to not get on there.
No way Ozzie would've bucked tradition in a one run game and started off with Choate in the 9th, and as good as Bell is, he's probably a better matchup for Murphy to get something started than the side-winding Choate was.
Randy was throwing pitches in his zone that Murphy could obliterate. He just didnt come through in that spot. I doubt Bell would have done the same. Murphy hitting over .700 on pitches high in the zone.
LOL in what sample?
And what do you base your "could obliterate" analysis on? Randy Choate is pretty much game-over to lefties and has been forever.
Based on this years sample size hes hitting over .700 but for his career he is hitting over .300 on pitches high in the zone. The pitches were dead on in that zone. Plus I've always believed that as a pure hitter, Murphy is the best on this team. JMO. I dont care who he is facing, hes that good IMO. And for a guy who untouchable, he sure was missing his spot in that AB. You could say Randy got lucky Murphy didnt capitalize on those pitches he got. Again my opinion.

not a single pitch thrown was in Hanleys hitting zone. Ramon looking surprisingly good again
I assume your basing all these "hitting zones" and "batting .700" on the Gameday thing that pops up, and let me caution you on that. Its only this year: terribly small sample.
For instance, the gadget popped up that Ramirez was risking getting hurt by putting balls in Gaby Sanchez' "hitting zone" where he was "hitting .600 on the year, and .211 in all other zones." He K'ed Sanchez.
