Jenrry Mejia will throw 75 pitches in a “structured setting,” after which he could appear in a minor league rehabilitation game, reports Adam Rubin of ESPN New York.

Rubin is awesome with these updates.

They'll obviously be extremely cautious with Mejia, but he's going back to starting. Wonder if the brass sees him as a potential rotation piece in a month if Schwinden gets lit up.

I think he's going to need to work on mastering Triple-A first.

I think I would like to see Mejia in a closer setting rather than starting. However, I think he has gotten lost in the big 3 to date. I am very excited for him.
