"Do the mets have a tying run inning in them? Why not..." Gary shouldn't of said that as Keith is already cold.

Is it just me or have the Rockies seemed to have pounded us in the last few years?
I think Mets are 29-46 at Coors Field or some crazy number like that.

I really hope the Mets address their rotation depth soon; even if Schwinden turns out okay, you can't have someone like Jeremy Hefner or Garrett Olson as your next best starter if someone goes down.

Last thing we should worry about is getting another, tripe-y type-y guy with Hefner, Young and Olsen. Other people's weeds are no better than ours. Personally, I think this is enough depth for now until the youngsters start becoming a part of the conversation (and Young could be an added bonus).
This is what I meant with the cascade effect of losing Pelf. Honestly, this may not be popular, but it makes more sense to flip Batista (if you are going to keep him) with Schwinden, and let Miguel gut out some games.
I guess you could inquire about a few guys, but to spend any money probably makes little sense (counting out Oswalt, Lannan and the like). We are not gearing up for the playoffs this year, and like the rest of the way the team is constructed (as a catch bottled lightning and ride it out), someone internal may surprise.
My bet is one of Olsen or Young steps up...
