i think he should be moving quiicklly because of age, but he does have those wack splits home and away...should we look anything to it despite his home splits and stadium is a power zap?

If anything his numbers should be looked at as "imagine how good they could be if he didn't play in that stadium".

He's done a nice job improving his worrisome K rate from last year, upping his walk rate and maintaining the plus power thus far. Really couldn't ask for much more from him on the year - he needed to perform at a very high level at that assignment to remain "in the convo" and through one month, he has.
Not to sound pessimistic, but most of the guys who make up the Savannah lineup are probably playing for their professional careers. Lots of late round draft picks, 23 year olds, etc there - its not so much "encouraging" if/when they succeed as it is a sigh of relief. Those who aren't aren't going to be around long, I don't think.
Savannah has no shortage of players who can come out of the lineup when the Mets decide to get Nimmo, Evans and Co. some professional ABs before Brooklyn's season opens up. Taijeron isn't one of them, however. Any idea what type of CF he's been playing?
