Let's go Mets!

Henderson Alvarez started Torres off with a 98 MPH fastball! Sitting 94-95 with his sinker.

Baxter continues to produce with a hustle double and sets the Mets up with 2nd and 3rd and David Wright due up.

And David drives a liner for a turf double. 2-0 Mets.

Baxter has been terrific so far this season. He needs to stay on the Mets roster when Bay comes back.

That last play is kind of Colby Rasmus in a nut shell. Makes a very nice, athletic diving catch. But it falls out of his glove at the end before he can fully secure it.

Has talent, but just doesn't get the job done.

How does that not count as a catch? I think if you have the ball in your glove and slide headfirst for longer than the distance of your standard Slip-n-Slide, it should count as an out. But that's just me.

I agree but that's karma for yesterday's bad call by the second base ump. ;)
