Wimberly was scratched with a sore arm.

For a second I was hoping for a promotion since he is undoubtedly my favorite non-prospect in the system. He's fun as hell to watch play. His HR swing yesterday was awesome.

Since the Mets don't seem to think much of him does McHugh count?

I'm sort of excited to see Simmons play for the Braves, they make his glove sound ridiculous

Chris Young, starting for Class-AAA Buffalo tonight, is still a work in progress. A scout told me Young is only throwing 81-83 mph

HEY GUYS! "Sitting 85" when no-one was there to verify the claim was overblown! Who woulda thunk it!?

We might as well sign Jamie Moyer.

We're probably also getting a couple Leathersich innings tonight (hasn't gone since Saturday).

As Edgin has quietly settled down and his peripherals look good, I suspect we could see him in NY within a month providing he keeps it up.

Well, I think Dan Warthen's math is that you add 4 mph for every level you jump, and another 2 mph for being under the bright lights, so I think he would probably translate 81-83 in an FSL matinee to like 95 in Citifield?
