Davis is batting .471 over his last six games, raising his average to … well, .188. But it's a start, Ike, you crazy light-hitting bastard. Next stop: Mendoza line!

A trio of RHP coming up against Cincinnati, let's see if Ike can get into a little groove here. His ability to draw walks and lay off the junk has been impressive. He's given a few of these balls a good ride.

LETS GO IKE

I think terry sees the light for Ike, which is why he's beginning to slide into the 5 slot...which belonged to murph (his struggles don't help)

Hopefully this does not jinx Ike's climb toward his number of at-bats.

If he goes on a serious productive streak, the bad beginning is meaningless. Hopefully he does so.

CHOOO CHOOOOOOOOOO

From .188, to .191, to .192, to .194, to .196 he's chugging away!

Ike's also rocking a decent .890 OPS in the month of June (which includes general suckiness from June 1 through June 8 )

I've been hard on Ike, but now i'm on board. Glad to see he's turning it around. Love the Oppo hard hit flies.

I really hope this is for real and I can stop banging the drum to demote him.

A lot of that production is from his last 10 games, though...hopefully that is the real turnaround...

I'd settle for that line with a bit more slugging (and likely significantly less OBP) for the rest of the year. It would show he's healthy.
