It looks like the Mets didn't keep too many players in St. Lucie in a pseudo Extended Spring Training.

For guys missing I have:
Peter Birdwell
Hunter Carnevale
Carlos Gomez
Casey Hauptman
Seth Lugo
Brett Mitchell (we know he's hurt)
Craig Missigman (we know he's hurt)
Adam O'Neill
Jhonathan Torres

Edward Rohan
Josh Dunn
Chad Zurcher (we know he's hurt)

I also believe the following players were supposed to come over from last season's DSL teams:
Octavio Acosta
Rolgenis Blanco
Doxon Brochero
Yancarlos Javier

Joan Decena

Guess at the Starting Lineup?

I think Cecchini bats second or third

Jeff Diehl listed as a 1B.

That's definitely disappointing and hurts his potential prospect stock.

MiLB.com has updated the roster much more too.

Plenty of intriguing arms on this staff; Budgell, Diaz, Dotson, Gsellman, Massie, Matz, Montgomery, Morris, Oswalt, and so on. It'll be interesting to see how the innings are proportioned.

Nido looks like the clear starter among the catching crop.

I'm not sure who will play 3B, perhaps Pedro Perez for now, but the rest of the starting infield is also clear with Cecchini at SS, Kaupe at 2B, and Diehl at 1B.

Marquez and Tuschak should find the most playing time in the outfield.

Pure guess:

Gavin Cecchini - SS
Branden Kaupe - 2B
Pedro Perez - 3B
Michael Bernal - DH
Jeffrey Diehl - 1B
Maikis De La Cruz - CF
Brad Marquez - RF
Alex Machillanada - C
Joe Tuschak - LF

Diehl better hit a whole lot or he's gone from "very interesting" to "meh"

I think it's a good bet that 2 of Kaupe, Cecchini, or Marquez are the first two hitters in the order.
