Sunday wasn't all that good for the Yankees as well. They place CC on the DL with a groin strain.

Hey! Torres gets in there vs. the RHP because presumably TC recognizes finally that Hairston doesn't hit em at all either and Torres does the other stuff better, like we've all been saying all along, RIGHT!!??
Wait, Kirk's sitting now to get Scott the start against the RHP? Seriously? HAS to be more bad oysters, right!?

Kirk hasn't exactly been killing the ball lately either. I agree though, I don't really need to see another Scott Hairston start against a RHP.
Lose-lose situation.
(My man Fred Lewis went 2 for 4 with a walk last night at AAA. Jus sayin)

Goes back to the "Who does the other stuff better" argument. You can't argue that Torres doesn't hit RHP and Kirk's cold and then insert ice-cold and never-hits-RHP-anyway Hairston as the counter-move.
RE: Lewis, unless Baxter has something that sets him back, I just highly doubt we clear a 40 man spot for him for a 2 week stint.

I thought Ike had a gripe last night, anyone see that call during the yankee game?
