An embarrassing day for the Mets organization, as a team in the country's #1 market is unable to put the face of its franchise into the All-Star starting lineup when he's having a career year.
Granted, Giants fan did stuff the ballot box as they even got Posey in their over Yadi. (And Cards fans got Furcal in...)

That's incredibly stupid and provides more evidence that the All-Star Game continues to be a joke despite the fact that "it matters."

this is good, i'd like to see Wright late in the game if the score is close, he can get a clutch hit..instead of playing the first 3 innings and getting pulled
