TC saving the good relievers for a tight spot later on. Except it won't happen because the crappy relievers he's using now will let the game get away.
Kind of like saving Ike and Murphy to hit against the right-handed relievers on the Dodgers once "we get Kershaw out of there"

The Mets have a lot of really nice guys on their team that are huge liabilities at this point.

The best part is the players making this loss come to fruition are all players that do not belong on this roster, at all; Cedeno, Nickeas, Turner, Batista. Go away already.
Again the other team doesn't beat us, we beat ourselves. This lefty righty garbage that Terry likes to play is well and good, except that it puts crappy defenders in the field. Crappier defenders than our regular crappy defenders.

That's as much on Batista as it is Nickeas. I have no idea why Batista looked to 1st at first. Then he sling-shotted a throw across his body that hand-cuffed Nickeas. The throw has to be to the glove hand side so that the catcher can easily step out in front of the plate to get a good angle to throw down to 1st.
Nothing like Miguel Batista pitching to get you out of a week long slump.
