Didn't feel like starting a thread about it, but it's minor league related so I'll put it here.

Does anyone remember Michael Olmstead (or Olmsted, I don't know)? What was the reason for him not being a part of the organization following 2008? Injuries?

He came back with the Red Sox system after not playing in 2009 and 2010 and has been absolute dominant out of the pen. Granted, he's much older now as far as prospects go and it's only Single-A, but his numbers are insane.

Between 2011 and 2012 with Greenville and Salem:

62.2 IP - 37 H - 12 ER - 1 HR - 16 BB - 95 K

Again, it's only Single-A and he turned 25 two months ago, but impressive numbers. He had posted solid numbers with the Mets and then disappeared. I'm guessing injury, but even so it makes me wonder why the Mets didn't hold on to him for when he was healthy again.

Domingo Tapia was tagged for 3 in the 1st, then gave up an unearned run in the 2nd thanks to Xorge Carrillo's throwing error.

Gnats in the weeds, down 4-0 in the 3rd.
