If it's clear that Coutinho is adding virtually nothing to this site (via his twitter feed), then why doesn't NYFS just remove it? Seriously, Ed Coleman offers more insight than Rich does and that isn't a good thing.

"as we approach trade deadline fans care about the news but could care less who breaks the story #justsaying"

Bad grammar will do that :?

"When hearing trade rumors look through prism of the other team. Generally that helps separate fact from fiction"

Ok, Bill is officially the Yogi Berra of twitter

coutinho9 All quiet on Met trade front but Sandy dealt K-Rod and Beltran quickly last year so I would not assume anything at this point.

Bad sportswriters make everyone think they could be sportswriters.

I don't know if I'd want to be a baseball player if I had to be as bad as Jason Bay.

@matthewcerrone never likes "at pace" stats--worked out badly for both Pirates & Braves last year if u paced them out at this point

(in response to Cerrone pointing out the Mets would need to go 42-17 the rest of the way to "catch" the current Wild Card pace).

Of course, Rich had no problem projecting out when the Mets were rolling, did he?
