Like I said on the other thread it sounds like they plan on playing "trade musical chairs" trading for the "cheapest" (in terms of talent) 1-2 arms and hoping for the best. I don't think it's going to be a guy who costs any of the "significant" aka top 7-8 prospects in the system.
Honestly, I won't be happy if they move one of the younger, upside types. Guys like Vaughn, Gorski, Lutz, Campbell, etc., if someone wants to dump salary or get rid of their problem. Chris Young really can't be expected to last much longer, Johan might hit a wall, and if one of those guys were to go down, we'd be screwed, not contending. Also, Harvey might be shut down in September, which leads to another issue. The Gee injury was a pretty big blow to contention, even before our current losing streak.
...You wouldn't trade Cory Vaughn for Broxton? Seriously?

Those aren't the younger, upside guys. Those are the guys I would move.

You're going to have to give up somebody to add one of the relievers that are mentioned. I don't see any reason to hold back Gorski or Lutz in a deal. I'm definitely on the fence regarding Vaughn since the Mets have so little in the power hitting prospect chain.

I meant that I was okay with moving Gorski types.
