We didn't score in the bottom of the first... Lagares walked and Granderson looked good with a hard ground single against the lefty Hand.

Pretty nice play by Curtis Granderson to take an XBH away from Hechavarria.

Lagares seems to be walking a bit more this spring. It probably means nothing, but it would be great if he could up his walk rate this year.

deGrom only operating around 89-90, but control is good and mixing his pitches well.

Marlins can't touch him in the 3rd. He's though 3 in just 30 pitches.

Confirm its not a slow gun by comparing Hand's velo to expected level (averages like 93 mph on his FB last 2 years)?

Is this Alexa going to be on every broadcast? Or is it just a ST thing? She's easy to look at, painful to listen to.

I'd say that was a pretty successful outing by deGrom. :)

I've been in and out of the game, but I've seen mainly 91 from Hand.

93, 91, 92 for deGrom against Ozuna. Mornin', 'noon and 'night

2 more Ks and a grounder to Flores. 39 pitches through 4.

So maybe a tick slow, which pushes deGrom up from "concerning" to "lower end of range as he stretches out" - which i think works logically.

Last fastball from Hand registered 89 on the TdA groundout.
