If @JeffMcNeil805 really is ticketed for AAA, talk about a crowded infield situation #Mets

More reason to trade Tejada and keep Dilson in the Majors! Or Campbell.

Forget which writer but one of them said Montero and Herrera have "no chance" of breaking camp with the team because the teams believes they need reps.

I still don't see the path forward for both Cheech and Dilson with the Mets. To me, one of them represents a chip that could get them that difference making RPer at some point this year, and one of the Brewers RPs still make the most sense to me.

Granted the system has graduated some core players of the defending NL Champs, but it does look a bit bare right now. Matz and Hererra aside, there are four intriguing names: Cecchini, Smith, Rosario and Becerra. But #'s 10-20 are "meh" and there is nothing past Smoker at #22.

Also disturbing that three of the top nine are injured. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the June draft.

I'll predict they land Jake McGee at the deadline.

And btw this is why I said they should consider giving Dilson some time in the OF this spring.

Would be hilarious to see McGee, Bastardo, Blevins, Gilmartin, and Edgin all in the same bullpen. Southpaw heaven!

Well, it wouldn't be a surprise if Edgin never throws another pitch for the NY Mets again IMO. He's clearly a 5th or 6th option by now and the 60 day DL is probably the only saving him from exile. I fully expect to see Smoker throw meaningful innings before Edgin will.
