Awaiting news on Duda and d'Arnaud today. Assuming d'Arnaud will just be day-to-day, but they may elect to give Duda a DL trip now that it's only 10 days. Bring TJ back so they aren't too short on the bench today. Then start Bruce at 1B!!!

Conforto RF
Cabrera SS
Cespedes LF
Bruce 1B
Walker 2B
Granderson CF
TJ 3B
Rivera C

Well, I got Bruce at 1B, right. It's a start. But Reyes still in there. Swap Conforto and Grandy (position and in the lineup), and bat Noah 8th.

TDA apparently all good if he had to play. Was Rene's game anyway.

Ha, seems like the Mets didn't actually call up Reynolds, and not only is Duda down, but Wilmer is out too.

2 man bench: TdA and Juan Lagares.

What is a joint infection?

Flores's infection is in a joint, per TC. Mets return to 7-man bullpen by adding Familia & optioning Gilmartin & Montero. Plawecki is up.

Nevermind, we added Kevin Plawecki to the bench. So its a 3 man bench. Including 2 catchers.

Flores is out for at least 1-2 days per TC, and Duda they have no idea.

Given Flores is a bench guy, and maybe gets 2-3 starts in the 8 days they are saving by not DL'ing him......I mean, what are you doing guys.

Who would they even bring up though unless you could bring back TJ (I guess you could before his ten days if it was an injury)?

And FWIW they're currently slated to face one lefty in the next twelve days (Gio on Saturday), not that ESPN's completely accurate but that's according to the upcoming game listing.

Too bad we can't take Matz off the DL just to pinch-hit. We might literally see some pitchers pinch-hitting tonight.
