Noah to start tmrw's game, throw 1 inning. Harvey to piggyback.

Kind of early in the process for him to go all out?

This is 2005 Pedro Martinez all over again.

Except this is Thor driving the train. With Pedro it was management prodding him to pitch.

If they want to give him ONE inning and shut him down just to have him 'return' to a ML mound, fine but he really really better not get hurt in that inning or this franchise deserves to be boycotted for utter stupidity.

What makes this stupid? I mean, how long will keeping him out of games be long enough?

There are always going to injuries, and second guesses. They're like the two foundations of sports.

Seems to me these usually involve more of a build up under non-stress situations and return to the majors when you are ready for ML competition.

Now I realize these have been exhibition games at full price since July but this isn't the normal rehab process

Because the minor league season has been over for a few weeks.

So I guess it's 2014 Harvey with a different result then.

Which is why you don't force it at the end of the year.

He's already had to stop and start his rehab, he's not 100%. That's what makes this stupid. If he was 100% fine, let him pitch all he wants then. I get the whole one inning aspect, but it would be so Mets for that to lead to further complications.
