PHILADELPHIA -- David Wright is throwing again, but is still a “ways away” from being able to return to playing in the major leagues, according to Mets assistant GM John Ricco. The Met captain has restarted a throwing program that consists of long toss which he was shut down from early in spring training

-Lagares played in a rehab game

Outfielder Juan Lagares went 2-3 with a triple, single, a run scored and one RBI tonight for St. Lucie vs. Bradenton. Lagares played 5.0 innings in centerfield in his first rehabilitation game.

per @MarcCarig Matz's elbow has "responded well" to rest and PRP injections, still at least a week away from resuming throwing #Mets
