Vegas...Dom Smith. But others in July
---Evans: .390/.463/.627/1.090 - 3 HR/17 rbis in 15 games
---Travis Taijeron .349/.446/.683/1.128 - 7 2B/4 HR/15 rbi
---Regnault--a few stinkers back to back, but otherwise unscored on in 14 of 17 appearances. Still walking too many.

Binghamton...the most weirdly good yet boring team.
--When two pitchers top your batting leader board...
--All pitching. Flexen, Oswalt, Conlon, Grisett..

St. Loo
--Tebow holding his own;
--Alonso en fuego! (In the 40 games since return... .292/.364/.549/.913 - 8/32; in July .313/.380/.609/.990 with a reasonable .326 BABIP)
--Crismatt racking up the Ks, Merandy just rocking on (1.54 ERA 12-2; 4.9 K/BB)

COLA

Alonso top 100 prospect by the end of the year?

12 HRs in 51 games is pretty impressive, especially after basically doing nothing for the first 3 weeks after he returned from his injury.

Doubt it but if Dom Smith eventually takes over the 1B job it might be good that he will have someone breathing down his back in the minors.

Not sure if he's a top 100 prospect but he definitely reestablished himself as a prospect here. Major plus that he's showing power in St Lucie ...

Desmond Lindsay is 4 for 5 with 2 doubles, 2 runs and 2 RBIs.

Blake Taylor left the game in the 2nd inning after throwing just 26 pitches (9 strikes.) Nonetheless, Cola is working on a combined 2-hitter in the 9th.
