Not that Dunn has been good but Will Craig (a guy the Mets were tied to) has been horrid. He was supposed to be this big masher....368 career slugg over 186 pro games.

Not as surprising as you'd thing. He always struggled to hit for any sort of power with wood bats. Look at his Cape numbers.

To be clear I had ZERO interest in Craig but he slugged over .700 in the ACC and was considered a lock 1st rounder. He gave me a similar vibe to DJ Peterson, another guy the Mets were tied to who has been a total zero.

I don't mind AsCab but only in a super sub role. Can play the infield spots in a pinch. At his age , he may get better with more rest in between. The Mets still need to find a 3B...
