In his 111th AB, 17-year-old Moises Gonzalez finally hit his first career double. He does have 3 triples and a .395 OBP though.

Apparently hard-throwing Yeizo Campos is going to get a chance to start for St. Lucie tonight.

How hard does he throw?

I've always loved a good underdog story. Go Mets (2018). I know an underdog when I see one.

Been clocked at 95, but was apparently more 92-93 tonight.

51s lose a game in BRUTAL fashion.

They led 3-0 with Knapp in control in the bottom of the 8th, 2 outs and a man on 1st. Victor Cruzado precedes to play a deep fly into a triple.

Link to Cruzado misplay

That made it 3-1.

In the 9th, Jamie Callahan allowed a moonshot to Ryan Schimpf to make it 3-2. Then with 2 on and 2 outs, Phillip Evans (lackadaisical play) and Gavin Cecchini (dropping the throw) allow the tying run to score.

Link to game-tying error

Chase d'Arnaud walked to load the bases and Franchy Cordero grounded a ball past a diving Cecchini to win the game, 4-3.

Not a good day for our minor league teams.

But here's a tweet of Gerson Bautista throwing 99 (scroll down for it, I don't know how to post a particular tweet).
