Kid must be exhausted from playing a week in the majors.

Gotta get Reyes in the line-up

Yeah I'm beginning to believe the Reyes fascination may be coming from the owners' box. Sitting Rosario now is just nuts.

You guys, though eminently correct, are burying the lede. This is the TDA batting 6th IGT!

D'Renaissance begins today!

I wring my hands a lot.

But giving 2 starters Sunday afternoon off isn't something that makes me want to.

*Please note that for the purpose of the above post, I ignored the lunacy of batting Smith before TDA.

To be fair they do have a SLIGHT point about Rosario's GP...75 GP in 2014, 105 in 2015, 120 in 2016, so far at 105 this year but still with 48 games left for the Mets. He's obviously not literally playing them all. If he even plays 35 that's a decent jump and 140 total. Granted he's not a pitcher so you shouldn't have to watch his mileage as much, but he is only 21 taking a lot in.

The Reyes fascination is frigging hilarious but not as if he's selling tickets in Philly, at least not in the Wilpons' pockets.

Who cares how many games he plays?!? As you said he's not a pitcher and he's 21. His stamina should be limitless at this stage.

What would be kind of fun is to see successive first rounders all in the lineup at one time...

Nimmo, Cecchini, Smith, Conforto...add Harvey to that.

At least wait until he has a game with some weak swings and looks tired?

Good. This way he can be fresh for the Yankees.

That take is nuts. The Mets are playing 27 games in 27 days. It's OK if he sits a day during that.

Huh? To make it even more ridiculous, he's just starting to look comfortable. Sitting him now is pretty absurd. The biggest play of yesterday's game prob by far was the play he made deep in the hole. That may have been the most excited I've been all season.
