Listen, I'm sorry I droned on here... you have the right to advocate anything you want even if it rises to crusade level. I'm just weighing in on how tedious this whole topic has gotten by now.

No worries. I agree it's old.

And if, as you suggested above, that you want to move past your rep here, you may want to consider curtailing the constant back patting.

I meant my reputation about only posting about Conforto / TDA. The accuracy of my predictions is a gift that is meant to be shared. It would be rude of me to keep it to myself, like Picasso hanging all his paintings in his living room, Springsteen singing only in the shower, or TDA content with being the best guy at the batting cages.

Who said you were right about TdA? He still sucks. Seems the place you believe he is good at resides in The Land of Hopes and Dreams

Good reference but no one said that, including me. TDA needs to get his confidence back. Since TC doesn't seem like he will help with that, "when it comes to luck, [he'll have to] make his own."

Not to belay the point, but I saw today that Conforto in his age 24 season has the best OPS+ (151) of any LFer since Miguel Cabrera. He's also on pace to be the youngest Mets ever to hit 30 home runs and have arguably the best age 24 season of any Met. When all is said and done, and if he stays longer term, he could be the best position player the Mets have ever developed. How's that for a hot take?

David Wright had a 151 RC+ in his age 24 season with 30 HRs and a 962 OPS.

And at a better position. I get it. But if Conforto continues this type of tear? Watch out.

He appears to be for real. But he's not enough.

True. But we should a (healthy) Cespedes, Rosario, Dom, and another piece or two should be enough. Though as Nitey indicated, I believe they'll go as far as the pitching allows.

Enough for what?
