Drew Smith has k'd 7 in 2.2 innings of work today (continuation of Bingo's suspended game from yesterday).

Apparently k'ed 7 in a row. Crazy considering the k's were oddly "poor" coming into today (6.1 innings 3 k's since joining the Mets)

Wow, that is crazy. That is hard to do on any level. Out of the five relief arms that we obtained, I like Smith and Bautista the most.

Kevin Kaczmarski with the walk off double for Binghamton.

Corey Oswalt has game 2.

It took 58 ABs, but Dylan Snypes finally has his first career XBH. It ignited a 4-run 1st for Brooklyn,

It is now 4-2 after 1.

He's on the DL so he hasn't played since 7-18, but Matt Winaker (5th round pick this year) put up some decent stats.

.326 .456 .348 .804 over his last 14 games. 10 walks to 7 Ks in that time. No power, but solid average, and more walks than Ks is always a plus.

and Vasquez continues to hit. Hitting .366 in Brooklyn over his first 12 games. No homers, but .366 is nice.

I've always loved a good underdog story. Go Mets (2018). I know an underdog when I see one.

Cola is going to extras, tied at 5. Luis Carpio has a 2-run homer, his second of the season.

Brooklyn leading a wild one, 10-9, after 6.5.
Brodey is 3 for 5 with a run, 2 RBIs and a steal.
Granadillo is 2 for 4 with a run, 2 RBIs and a steal.

I mean this is a lower level of competition than the PAC 12. The numbers at this level really don't matter.
