Nimmo has 13 walks in 70 PAs. If he can keep up a plus walk rate (12-13% and add just a smidge of power and keep his aveage in the 250-260 range), I think he's a starter. Guys who pester the pitcher, draw walks and get on base are nice to have. Small sample size I admit, but he's of to a nice start.

Jake was pretty amped tonight. Watching just the highlights it sure looked like he was throwing free and easy too.

Was at the game tonight, he was dealing hitting 98 pretty consistently on the stadium gun. Fun to watch (even if it was against a depleted Nats lineup of their own).

So, this is the first time we've beaten the Nats since 2015, right? The Murphy curse.

(I'm kidding ofcourse, mets are 4-9 this year and 7-12 last year, it just feels like we never beat them).

2014 was the worst, we were 4-15 against them. Ouch. 2015 we beat them 11-8.

That's his MO. I read an article about him the other day stating this goes back to high school for him even.

Something like .260/.380/.420 would be nice. I think he can develop enough power. He doesn't have to hit a ton of HR; something like 10-15 would work if he could smack around 35+ doubles
