Mets1 won, 6-2.

Miguel Ramirez threw 5 scoreless innings. He's now at 3 BB, 53 K on the season over 66.2 IP.

Jose Peroza went 2 for 4 with a double and a run.

Mets2 were postponed for unknown reasons.

GCL Mets were suspended in the 8th, tied at 2.

Wilmer Reyes was 3 for 3 with a double, walk and steal. Both he and Mark Vientos had base hits against the rehabbing Wei-Yin Chen.

Matt Cleveland threw 6 strong innings: 2 hits, a run, a walk and 4 Ks

St. Lucie works around a David Wright K to core a run.

Tim Tebow who got off to a fast start in St. Lucie has been awful lately.

Since 7-27, 100 PAs, he's 12 for 93 with 5 walks and 30Ks. .129 .180 .183 .363

.175 babip but still, those are ugly numbers. Downright Plaweckian. (sorry, couldn't resist).

I've always loved a good underdog story. Go Mets (2018). I know an underdog when I see one and oh-boy, this team is full blown Vegas 50 to 1 long-shot.

Hope so.

I think he gets cut from the 40 after the year unless he really impresses, but its a perfect time to give him some time in the majors.

Last 250 PAs (since June 15), Phil Evans is 325/371/500 which is 125 RC+ in the PCL and about the 20th best rate stats in the league. In other words, he's turned his season around.

Phillip Evans is 2 for 3 with a double, triple, run and RBI.

Vegas trails 3-2, bot 6.

I would like to call up Boyd and Evans and give them some reps at LF/1b and 2b/3b. Sept callups hopefully.

I envision a Boyd-Nimmo-TT OF, with Smith/Cheech/Rosario/Evans IF and Plaw catching Sept lineup. Please let this happen lol.

Lagares/Cabrera/TDA/Flores/Reynolds bench. Carrillo probably gets 3rd C duties in Sept as well. Reyes too i guess, i wonder if they throw Reyes out in the OF with the recent Ces/Conforto injuries. Cheech in CF would be interesting if he had a big year.

Do not think we will be seeing Beccerra or Nido.

Probably see Pill and Rhame here, maybe Molina but i doubt it.

The only other rule 5 guys that jump out at me are Oswalt/Bashlor/Guillorme, might want to get a look at them. IMO Bashlor with his recent uptick in performance and rule 5, virtual certainty to be here Sept (28/4 k/bb ratio since July 5th with just 10 hits in 16.1 innings 1.10 era, no HRs allowed-most of this in AA). Oswalt one would think with his stats, but seems to be light stuff. Bashlor probably wont be here till at least a week after Sept, Bingo doesnt end its season till the 4th and they are in the playoffs, only 2 affiliates this year in the playoffs (AA and DSLMets2, which should start soon as well-bad year record wise on the farm).

Seacreat/Edgin/Regnault are the RP from the left side one might see get called up.

Crismatt is a minor league FA of note. Dont think any of the trade guys besides Rhame who is already on 40 need to be added. Well see maybe they announce the Walker PTBNL soon and he makes an appearance. Noah/Harvey/Lugo might come back, Familia is back, DW might make an appearance. Rivera as well. Not sure how this works out numbers wise, but im sure they will find the room with 60day DL/releases.

Is there anyone i am missing here?

Both Callahan and Bautista need to be added. Also Pill is out for the year. Uceta needs to be added after the season as well.
