Erick Fedde, who has allowed 24 baserunners in 9.1 innings this season, is the opposition.

Things are not improving for Fedde today.

The AB's cannot come as a third baseman, shortstop and probably not as a first baseman, but Wilmer needs to get 500+ next season. Probably fits in at 2B.

I just saw this quote from Terry Collins on losing Cespedes and Conforto this week:

Quote:
“You have got to do what the strength of the team is, and when your team is powerful you hit homers,” Collins said. “If you don’t have that you have to create some runs some other ways.”

Yuck, the team should be doing everything it can to score runs, regardless is they have home run power.

Wilmer and Rivera splitting time at 2B and as backup infielders works for me.

Isn't Montero the fifth starter now that Gsellman was farmed out and has to stay down for 10 days?

deGrom, Flexen, Lugo, Milone and Harvey, I guess?

I want Smoker nowhere near this team in 2018. He's horrible.

I honestly think they cancel each other out on a good team. Too similar of players to have on the same bench.

It's his throw day so probably TC just trying to give the bullpen an inning with the DH today.

Unfortunately, he just burned 4 relievers on a double header day...Robles, Montero, Smoker and now Sewald.

Watch him try to double-duty Sewald and Robles today.

Might be time to make some changes in the relief core...see what some of the guys who have to be protected do.

Watch the Nets tie it up and Game 1 go 12 or 13 innings.
