Amed Rosario's pitch recognition is absolutely brutal at this point. Can see why they were keeping him in AAA as long as they did despite all the armchair GM's losing their minds about it all Spring.

Milone getting innings in September is the most annoying thing of all time.

It would be if there was actually anyone viable left to take the innings.

Put it this way, I'd rather see him get the innings than see Flexen get beat to death when he's clearly not ready (though he might deserve it after showing up Reyes). Montero's failed at his 58th chance, Harvey's a total disaster, Gsellman might be the third best starter by default at this point and he's been awful for almost the entire season.

McGowan? Callahan? Get Molina and/or Oswalt up here if you want a true long man. crap, I'd rather see Tim Tebow called up to pitch than see a 30 year old journeyman who is a lock to be DFA'd in three weeks.

Mets & As both lost, still tied for 6/7 (A's win the tiebreaker, ofcourse).

Braves won and they've moved down to the #9 pick. Sandiego (who lost brilliantly today 16-0) is 1.5 better than us currently #8. The Reds (#5 pick) 1.5 games worse.

Drafting 5-9 seems most likely now. #4 (Detroit) is 3 games worse than us and #10, 4.5 games better.
