What an odd coincidence... Brandon Graham of the Eagles bear squatting... 900 pounds with the hashtag #BarwisMethods...

http://www.stack.com/a/watch-brandon-gr ... 900-pounds

Coming off a strong season, the first in his four-year contract extension with the Philadelphia Eagles, Brandon Graham is hard at work in the off-season. The 27-year-old defensive end is currently spending most of his time at Barwis Methods Training Center in his hometown of Detroit.

I guess somehow another Barwis client is randomly doing the exact same exercise and weight. Weird.

I find it hard to believe one video undermined their work or that Cespedes secretly was doing his "own" thing

I don't see where anyone is suggesting any of that.

I thought Sandy's premise was these extreme bear squats were something Cespedes did on his own?

Sandy seemed to be alleging the "look at how much I can squat" video was something Ces wanted to do, not something Barwis pushed. And I think he was probably suggesting it gave a false impression to people as to what the general workouts consisted of (as in he didn't just lift 900 lbs everyday and that's it). I don't think he was trying to say Ces was on some super secret program or that one video undermined all the work. (Though given other stuff on Barwis it does seem unlikely Ces never did anything like that with him)

It seems highly suspect given the videos of other Barwis clients doing just that. Hopefully at the very least they do SOMETHING differently than they have in regard to health.

Also lol that article from Kernan in ST hyping Ces' workout program. He mentioned how Ces looked more "flexible" than last season. We are probably gonna get a two dozen or so articles next ST with that buzz word thrown around.

I don't see the 900 lb post with barwis mentioned. I see the 735 bear squat one with Barwis methods in it...

"Brandon Graham Bear Eccentric Squats 900 Pounds

Graham recently posted a couple of videos to his Instagram showing off some pretty impressive lower-body strength. Check out the videos above (and links below) where he performs a "Pause Bear Eccentric Squat" with 735 pounds for 5 reps, then with 900 pounds for 4 reps."

The entire team needs a yoga instructor more than a strength coach.
