I feel like this Justin Turner thing may not be a fluke after all.

Ryder Ryan is interesting. I wouldn't call it just a salary dump.

and, I've always loved a good underdog story. Go Mets (2018).

I agree. It's not like Bruce was helping us make the playoffs...

Actually, the Bruce trade showed that maybe Sandy does know what he is doing. Imagine the angst if Bruce had hit those two homers FOR the Yanks instead of against them. If anything, right now Cashman and Co. are probably wishing they had forked over the $5M.

Bingo. Still can't believe how insanely productive Bruce has been. And clutch. Puts Cespedes to shame

It's early but we might look back on that Bryce Harper HR as the Nationals' Dave Roberts steal of 2nd moment, that could be a franchise-changing win after they looked dead in the water AGAIN and about to go down 0-2 at home.

lol well in that case knowing what you're doing has a very narrow definition that has nothing to do with whether they should have done the Yankee deal on the table in terms of value. It's not like people thought getting Bruce would HURT the Yankees.

But I agree to the extent of why should we be the ONLY NY team who takes a hit on not doing the NY/NY deal?

Well the Indians better not lose this series now or they're going to get a rep as chokers after losing the 3-1 lead last year.
