Evans can field, which is a plus, no question. He's a better glove than TJ and if he can continue to hit at a .758 OPS - he's top 10, easy. He's a borderline starter with those numbers.

Reasons why I don't like him as much as TJ:

33 major league ABs - too small a sample size.

just 2 xbh, .61 ISO - on the low side. TJ had an ISO of .140 this year

Higher K rate, 21% to TJ's 13.8%

High babip .400 TJ had a highish babip this year too at .318 but Evans .400 suggests his numbers aren't sustainable.

Evans looked better than expected. I'll give him that. He hit a few legit line drives and his glove works at 3rd (unlike TJ/WIlmer), but I think it's too soon to shoot him up the list based on 33 major league ABs and a .400 babip.

Regardless of what people think of him, it’s gotta he Flexen at some point here. Come on.

Mazeika and Evans over him? Give me a break.
I voted Flexen a few rounds ago but was the only one. I'd personally go Flexen with this spot and Oswalt next, but I'm not going to waste my vote. I like Mazeika's bat and if there's any hope that he'll stick at catcher he's a legit prospect, so I went with him. I'll go Flexen next if Maz wins regardless.

Evans isn't really an option for me until the mid-20s. TJ passed the eye test for me and was remarkably consistent in the minors. I know Evans started younger and required more physical development but it's not like his season in AAA was even impressive. TJR and Nimmo both hit like .350 in that league.
