...and it isn't the Mets!

Not to say the Nats can't turn it around quickly, but it is still satisfying to see these d-bags getting crapped on so. The ownership situation sounds eerily familiar. I guess having better players can overcome some of those difficulties, but the problem always rears its head, as we have seen.

The door to the division seems wide open again. The Mets need a player move or two and some better health for sure.

I think the Marlins are more of a trainwreck to be honest. All the young talent in the world but unwilling to spend to add the extra piece or two to make them an automatic world series contender. And now they are going to trade Stanton and again get back i'm sure young talented players but end up never going anywhere with them.

I'm not buying that they are going to deal Stanton just bc Jon Heyman has written about it.

You can buy them trading him if they are cutting the payroll to 90 million or less which has also been reported elsewhere. Stop looking at who wrote the article and look at what makes sense. Does it really make sense for a team like the Marlins to pay 25 Mil to one player if that's the case?

Alther, Williams, and Nola seem to be the real deal. Andrew Knapp and J.P. Crawford did o.k. in their cup of coffee this year. So I don't know how you can call them busts. It's like calling Rosario a bust.

Hard to see them trading him. That's a big hit to their fanbase. Ozuna, Prado, Gordon, sure.

I’d go with the Braves.... Their entire front office staff is a bunch of cheats. I expect MLB to impose a large penalty on them soon.

Rhys Hoskins, how do you do!?

Thats just one. I'm not even sure which prospects you're referencing, to be honest. This looks like a bad take.

Their lineup - around the diamond: Alfaro, Hoskins, Hernandez, Galvis, Crawford, Altherr, Herrera, Williams - looks pretty good. And they have a lot of money to spend as none of those guys cost anything.

If i were betting, I'd bet on the Phils making the playoffs again before the Mets do, especially if the Mets don't make it next year.

Yup. This is the up and coming team and several more interesting prospects to come.
