Rookie maximums for at-bats (130), games pitched (30) or innings (50) in the major leagues"

If the 2 leaders are within 5% of each other, or the leader has less than 35% there will be a run-off between the top 2. If a run-off results in a tie the tiebreaker will be vote total in the previous poll, we will continue to "go back" in the polls until there is a clear leader.
*Rosario ineligible
*Dom ineligible

P.S. don't stress too much if you feel player X deserves to be on this list vs. player Y. It's extremely unlikely someone not yet nominated would be win any given poll. Nominate those you see fit.
** Executive decision, pulled the plug early on #7. By having the polls begin in the morning it allows for a more lively discussion. Lindsay was running away with the vote. Same with #10. Poll #11 will only have 9 options, I accidently had Kay listed a second time (copy and paste, sue me lol)

1) Andres Gimenez (SS) 12/27 votes-44%
2) David Peterson (LHP) 12/24 votes-50%
3) Mark Vientos (SS/3B) 13/24 votes-54%
4) Peter Alonso (1B) 21/28 votes-75%
5) Thomas Szapucki (LHP) 10/22-45%
6) Justin Dunn (RHP) 4/20-20%, runoff with Lindsay/Guillorme/Kay 9/22-41%
7) Desmond Lindsay (OF) 12/26-46%
8) Luis Guillorme (SS) 8/25-32%, run-off with Kay 11/22-50%, advances due to more votes in previous poll
9) Anthony Kay (LHP) 9/24-38%, run-off with Bashlor 10/20-50%, advances due to more votes in previous poll
10) Tyler Bashlor (RHP) 11/16-69%
11) Tomas Nido (C) 6/24-25%, run-off with Molina and Oswalt 12/20 60%
12) Marcos Molina (RHP) 6/20-30%, run-off with Evans 13/20-65%
13) Ronny Mauricio (SS) 6/17-35%
14) Gavin Cecchini (2B) 6/23-26%, run-off with Mazeika 12/15-80%
15) Chris Flexen (RHP) 8/26-31%, run-off with Mazeika/Thompson 8/11-73%

Noted unless I missed a previous nomination by someone? If not it'll be Boyd.

Yes. BA ranked him the 40th best IFA prospect this past year. I'm not saying it means he won't become a big time player but that suggests he wasn't even viewed as a top talent in a field where MOST of these 16 year olds never amount to much. The system stinks but I can't imagine a single site has Stanly Consuegra on ANY top 30-35 list for the Mets and that's what a nomination here would suggest. 500K isn't a huge bonus nowadays.

IFA kid they gave 500K to this past signing period. Considered a good athlete who is projectable, questions about his swing.

I went with Nabil Crismatt. Crismatt had a "mixed" season at SL, starting off well and declining toward the end. He did pitch nearly 2.5X more innings in 2017 than in any individual season from 2012-2016 (he will be 23 in December). Not known to be a hard thrower, his control is good and he gets a decent amount of K's. The Mets are short on near-ready starting pitchers. Crismatt and PJ Conlon (a lefty) are two potentially back of the rotation types who may eventually emerge to the major leagues.

Drew Smith. I think he'll be quite useful.

I understand why some of these RPs are getting support in this range, but over a SPer with some real upside? I don't get that.

He doesn't exist. I made him up. Nice name though.

(I kid). He's real. I stopped getting excited when I read an article that said the "best thing about him is his arm" - that's great if you're a pitcher or maybe a catcher, but for an OF, average speed, bat needs work, power may come as he fills out, but love his arm . . . color me "meh".

On the plus side, he's 16 so ya never know.

On the Jayce Boyd nomination, my feelings are mixed. I kind of see a TJ Rivera upside without the ability to play some 2nd base. Bat might be OK but even if the bat is OK he's got a James Loney upside. Downside is basically Travis Taijeron, so . . . bleh on the downside but in the late 20s it's almost worth ignoring downside for these guys.

Ranking older guys like Boyd vs younger guys with better tools like Jose Medina, I don't see how anyone can say for sure, unless you know you don't like someone or believe strongly in another.

After Boyd, I think it's time we nominated Urena - too soon? I think he's got a tiny shot.
