The most interesting DSL guys are going to be the ones who

a> are still youger than 18
b> got the end of season promotion to the GCL
c> got invited to instructional league

The means Sebastian Espino and Jose Peroza.

Luis Santana also got the invite (and is less than a year older than the other two).

Not just DSL, but other infielders who were on the instructional league roster, and not yet on our list were Jeremy Vasquez (1B), Edgardo Fermin, Gergory Guerrero, Hansel Moreno, Shervyn Newton, and Rogoberto Terrazas.

Other outfielders are Ranfy Adon, Anthony Dirocie, Rafael Gladu, Guillermo Granadillo, Jay Jabs, Wagner Lagrange, Jose Medina, Jhoander Saez, Jacob Zanon.

To be fair, an invite doesn't mean a ton other than the organization wanting more of look (good or bad)... Jay Jabs has been AWFUL for 2 seasons and is 23 years old, Gladu is 23 in June. I wouldn't read too much into it. Jabs very well could have been invited to decide if he should be released or not. That's how bad he's been.

I think for DSL players an invite to instructs says something. Granted, there's still a numbers problem if we're talking prospects. If a dozen DSL guys go to instructs, how many of them merit top 50 consideration? One? Two?. But for the young DSL players, I think an instructs invite means the mets like what they see.

For state-side players it's different, it's more that there's something they want to work on, though I think a lot of first year draftees go to instructs by default - I could be wrong on that but I think most of the healthy, 26-30 guys the mets signed get instruct invites their first season.

Well I don't mean to suggest that all these guys are cadidates for the list.

But Gladu was only just drafted in 2017, and Jabs was taken out of a DII school in 2016. Possibly they think there is some untapped potential with these guys that might be unlocked with more coaching. I think the guys who get these invites are mostly guys the organization likes for some reason.

But the most obvious candidates for the list there to me are Guerrero, Moreno, Terrazas, Adon, Dirocie, Medina, and Lagrange.
