Wheeler hasn't complained yet though, so maybe they're really earnest in giving him a chance to start.

With all this focus on "deGrom needs to get in a game, soon!" to be on track for the first week - I mean, basically if he throws 25/30 pitches in an outing in the next weekish he'd be right in line with Wheeler, right?

Just seems like lip service.

Oh, of all the things you've ever seen!

With 2 outs and nobody on in the 9th, Guillorme singled and took second on a wild pitch, McNeil delivered the game-tying hit and now Arnaldo Berrios just hit a ball off the very top of the wall and over for a 2-run homer!

6-4 Mets!
