Dont see it with Harvey. Don't think *(unless I missed one) he has a single swing and miss yet. Stuff just isn't what it was, and looks like it never will be.

The slider just isn't coming back.

Ronnie says the K pitch to Krizan was a CU.

No action in the bullpen. Harvey will go 3.

Top 3

Amarista

FB (93) fouled back 0-1
SL swing and miss (82) 0-2 (took a ittle off)
Inside FB 91 -- nice pitch 1-2
CU (87) grounded to Cheech, 1 away.

CU has some nice run away from LHB

Martin

fouls off a bunt attempt on a SL (81) 0-1
FB 92, low and away -- topped to Cheech -- barehanded 4-3. Nice play, two away

Iglesias

FB low and outside (93) 1-0 -- trouble is locating the Outside corner FB to the RHB
FB hits the outside corner (92) 1-1
FB yanked low and away (94) -- 2-1
slider squibbed back to Harvey, who deflects it a bit -- infield hit.

Cabrera

tops a FB (92) to Reyes, 5-4 , side retired.

Good inning and pretty good outing for Harvey.

Lost it a bit in the second and got it back in the third. Weak contact all around that inning.

48 (I think) through 3.

Flores crushed a 2B off the LC wall. Missed a HR by just a bit. Wind held it up.

Spooky Mets/NSA of the day. First IGT of the year and my ticket rep calls me to schedule a VIP tour of Citifield next monday.

If Mets were smart, they'd unload Harvey to the Orioles and sign Arrieta.

The Mets are not smart.

I think this is a great case of Spring Training results not mattering, but process should.

3 scoreless should be considered good, but seemed like he threw about equal balls and strikes. I believe I saw 1 swing and miss, and it was by some anonymous org player.

The slider looks like it could be scrapped at this point, or at least changed into a get me over pitch rather than his K pitch. The velo was OK - 91-94 - with a lot of trouble commanding it.

The narratives will be a lot different than what Matz is facing, but I'm not super encouraged by this just because he got 0's on March 5th doing it this way.

Think there is any market at all?

I'm not sure the smart play isn't to take a chance on Harvey getting it together mid-season and dealing him and ALSO signing Arrieta. Not Bullish on Matz or Wheeler and, while more optimistic than some on Harvey, I'm pretty agnostic.

I think he's got a decent shot at bouncing back to be a better than average starter at least. He's been through an awful lot of physical turmoil since 2015 -- but it's not related to the shoulder joint, so I'm bullish.

Familia in.

It would be nice for Familia to have a nice outing here as Ramos is throwing 89-90, Blevins 86-87 and Swarzak is on the sidelines.

I think Jeurys could use some new cleats.
