As much as I don’t like Robles this isn’t fair. Robles has occasional meltdowns surrounding longer stretches of solid work. Montero has been awful from day 1. The idea we’re still debating him is insane.

We’re actually citing his run at the end of last year as a positive. Look up what he did. I mean- come on.

Wouldn’t change anything on Montero except the line. The HR was off Taylor.

Flip side: Wheeler the one guy in the starting competition that looks really good. realistically it’s Wheeler Gsell Harvey and Matz- otherwise I’d say Lugo looks good too but I have a tough time envisioning how he starts in the rotation.

I think Lugo pretty much has to be in the pen.

The HR was off Taylor.

I know. I wasn't exonerating Monty.

Looked like Taylor should have gotten a better outcome from that pitch tho.

I don't know any way they can rationalize a roster spot for Monty now, tho I've thought that before...

Why is McGowan still in big league camp?

Man remember when people were pining for him and Baldanado last year? At least we have some decent options to scream about replacing Robles and Montero with this April/May!

It also came off Corey Taylor, not Montero. In case that wasn’t clear.

No way! They invested in the pen- they signed a guy ! Total shift in philosophy!

I like some of the arms they acquired during the selloff last season.

Meanwhile, Ty Kelly hasn't helped the pitchers in this game it seems.

Whoops. Didn’t realize there was a page 4.
