Harvey to the pen when Vargas gets back.

I do think Wheeler has upside still to reach. But he needs to pitch in order to get better.

Harvey in 2013 was far and away the most dominant Met pitcher I've ever seen, and only early Pedro and Randy Johnson were more dominant as far as pitchers I've seen. It's such a shame what has happened since then.

When is Vargas back? I have to think Wheeler is locked in for another start or two given how well he pitched.

Harvey is getting roasted, you don’t wanna “that guy” to end a streak. Not sure what more Harvey can do. He already changed his delivery. Guess he’s better off in the pen.

Plus hes only going 5 innings a start...kinda putting a lot of work on this pen to get 12 outs a start.

If wheeler pitches well, move Harvey to the pen....Sewald down. There is potential Harvey starts throwing back to his usual self in terms of fastball velo, cut his curve/change out for now, focus fastball and slider-regaining your velocity and your strike zone command with those two pitches alone.

I posted a few days ago, my theory is Sewald gets innings when the mets are down by 3 or more runs. This is one of the few times that's happened.
